Rolex Milgauss 1019 – Black Dial – Unpolished Conditions – Original Rolex Warranty
Introduced in 1956 with the ref. 6541, the Rolex Milgauss was designed for environments with high magnetic interference, conceived to meet the needs of scientific institutions such as CERN. Equipped with a Faraday case and caliber 1065 with anti-magnetic protection up to 1,000 gauss, it is distinguished by its characteristic lightning-bolt hand.
With the ref. 1019 (produced from 1963 to 1988 approximately), the model evolved towards a more minimal and technical aesthetic, without the lightning hand and protected by plexiglass, and powered by the 1580 caliber. Little appreciated at the time, it is today highly sought after in the world of collectors for its rarity and historical value in the production of watches for extremely professional use.
This rare example of Rolex Milgauss reference 1019 boasts the following features:
Stainless steel case and bracelet
Black dial
Unpolished conditions
Garanzia Originale Rolex e Expertise by Carlo Pergola
