From the first half of the seventies until the dawn of the nineties, Rolex produced two new versions for the Daytona Cosmograph: the Rolex 6263 and the 6265. The Rolex 6263, compared to previous models, boasts a larger crown and the return of screw buttons , a modification carried out to allow the watch better water resistance and therefore greater impermeability.
The bezel of the Rolex 6263 was printed in white on a black Bakelite background unlike that of the Rolex Daytona 6265 which was made of metal with an engraved tachymetric scale.

One of the most sought-after and coveted references by Rolex collectors worldwide is the reference 6269 and reference 6270.
With an extremely limited production, only two versions of the reference 6269 are known: the first with a champagne dial and the second with a diamond-paved dial and sapphire indexes.
This example comes directly from the first and only Italian owner who has expertly preserved it, keeping it in like-new condition.
