The Rolex Explorer was first introduced in 1953. Initially, it was developed only for professional use as a prototype watch. One of the rarest and oldest examples of the \u201cExplorer\u201d model is the reference 6150 also called \u201cPre-Explorer\u201d since it did not bear the famous \u201cExplorer\u201d writing on the dial.
In 1971, the Rolex Explorer II was introduced with the goal of providing a versatile and reliable tool for explorers. Featuring the luminous 24 hour hand that can shine under any light.<\/p>\n
