Born from the German market's demand for a watch imbued with the "Offshore spirit", as well as from the desire to rejuvenate the Royal Oak collection, the 25721 model created a scandal when it was launched at the Basel Fair in April 1993.
\nAt the time, the average size of men's watches was approximately 36mm in diameter, and at 42mm in diameter and 14.05mm thick, the first Royal Oak Offshore was considered outrageous by the standards of the time.<\/p>\n
