The Rolex Sea-Dweller ref 1665 is certainly the most representative of the brand when it comes to professional diving models.
It is equipped with the exclusive helium expulsion valve, essential during the decompression process after a deep dive.
Regular production began in 1971, although the first pre-series units were in production as early as '67. Initially equipped with the "double red writing" dial (until '77), it was then equipped with the white writing dial until the end of production, which occurred in 1981.
